ABOUT CAPITALAND HOPE FOUNDATION

CapitaLand Hope Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand, furthers CapitaLand's corporate social responsibility commitment to build a better future for needy children. It supports programmes for the shelter, education and healthcare needs of underprivileged children in countries which CapitaLand operates.

ABOUT COMMUNITY CHEST

For over 30 years, Community Chest has been engaging the community to support people in need through fund-raising and volunteering. Community Chest supports more than 80 charities in Singapore, allowing them to focus on caring for the less fortunate. As Community Chest’s fund-raising and operating costs are covered mainly by Tote Board and Singapore Pools, every dollar donated will help children with special needs to reach their full potential, adults with disabilities to integrate into society, relationships of families in difficulty to stay strong and the elderly to age graciously in the community.

ABOUT STUDENTS CARE SERVICE

Students Care Service (SCS) is a registered charity and a member of National Council of Social Service. They have been serving underprivileged children and youths in Singapore since 1976 and remains committed to enabling them to maximise their potential.

SCS serves around 6,500 students, aged 5-21 years old, each year. They aim to develop students’ competencies, confidence and character; facilitate meaningful connections with their families and society; nurture a sense of care for others; and guide them to steer clear of crimes, while keeping them positively engaged in school. The work they do helps to build young lives, enhances their resilience and offers hope for their future.

The children and youths that SCS serves are connected with them through schools, police, hospital, community, parents or peers. Their work with them is made possible with the support of funders and donors.

*CapitaLand Hope Foundation will donate S$2 for every unique recipient who receives a card from www.capitaland.com/cards, up to S$25,000 in support of this charity drive. A unique recipient is identified by a unique email address that a sender sends the electronic card to.
